PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood component collector capable of collecting high quality desired blood components such as platelets obtained by centrifugal separation at high yields or removing leucocytes at a high removal rate. SOLUTION: The blood component collector has a centrifugal separator having a rotor with an inlet and an outlet communicating with a blood storing space, a first line connecting the inlet and a blood collection means, a second line connected to the outlet, a plasma collection bag connected respectively to the first line and the second line, a platelet collection bag connected to the second line and a control means, and in platelet collection operation, adjusts the quantity of blood to be collected so that the hematocrit value Hb [%] in the blood storing space to be determined by the formula (1) may be a target value when the hematocrit value of the quantity of blood to be collected is Hd [%], the quantity of blood to be collect is G [mL], and the volume of the blood storing space is V [mL].
