PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent and new form of screw-cut container, compared with conventional ones, which can be easily handled and allows the solid cosmetics inside to be replaced with new ones after they are used up, and can prevent dusts or the like from entering the case body. SOLUTION: This container comprises an oval flat case body 2 having a supply opening 7 in the upper end, a rockable lid 3 capable of freely closing or opening the supply opening, a container body 4 which is rotatably provided in the case body 2, where the rotation is linked with the rocking movement of the lid 3, and a holding plate member 5 as well as a handle member for pushing solid cosmetics or the like out of the container. The case body is provided with a control window 8, through which a handle 37 of the handle member can be pushed out or pulled in. When the lid is closed, the container upper surface is made to come just below the supply opening, with the handle 37 being just beside the control window.
