PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic roll and its grinding method, and a grinding wheel used for grinding the ceramic roll capable of having suitable average roughness and maximum roughness as a terminal connector and also rolling a copper alloy sheet or stripe that can lessen generation of roll marks. SOLUTION: The ceramic roll 1, in which the rolling surface of the roll used for cold-rolling of plates or stripes of copper or copper alloy is formed by ceramic, is formed so that a roughness average Ra is more than 0.1μm to 0.15μm or less and also maximum roughness Rmax is more than 0.1μm to 1.5μm or less, which is measured in an axial direction against the rolling surface of the ceramic roll.
