PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool with a sensor whose sensor circuit does not short-circuit with a base material. SOLUTION: An insulating layer is formed on a surface of the cutting tool made of a conductive base material and the sensor circuit composed of a conductive film is formed on the insulating layer after oxidation treatment of the insulating layer.
