RACING GAME APPARATUS USING SELF-RUNNING BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a degree of advance detection mechanism which realizes racing patterns of actual racing hoses by making the altering of racing courses and the positioning of individual self-running bodies match the situations of racing hoses in real time while ensuring that the individual self-running bodies run in a more actual fashion and smoothly and enables accurate detection of the degrees of advance of the individual self-running bodies even when they cause running troubles such as retracting or reversing. SOLUTION: Light lines of three colors are arranged on the running courses of the self-running bodies at the right angle to respective magnetic induction lines in the specified order to make optical advance lines. Optical sensors 6 for three colors are arranged on the undersurfaces of the respective self-running bodies facing the optical degree of advance lines and three-color line pulse signals from the optical sensors generated by the crossing of the optical degree of advance lines are counted to detect the degrees of advance. A central controller determines the situations of racing horses while running sequentially based on the degree of advance signals of the individual self-running bodies and transmits commands for transferring or altering speeds according to the situations of the racing horses involved.
