<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a seedling rate on the seedling of a shoot anlage, when Eucalyptus dunnii or its cross is transformed by a genetic recombination method. SOLUTION: This method for transforming the Eucalyptus dunnii, comprising inducing an adventitious shoot from the Eucalyptus dunnii or its cross using the same as a parent, infecting the tissue pieces of the adventitious shoot with an Agrobacterium to form a transformed callus, inducing a shoot anlage from the callus, and then forming a seedling from the shoot anlage in a culture medium is characterized by applying a seedling-inducing treatment to the shoot anlage, before the seedling is formed from the shoot anlage in the culture medium. Thereby, the seedling-forming rate is improved.</p> |
