PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rotary torque from becoming great when performing curve operation and further to save a space in the axial direction of a pulley while avoiding the interference of an operating wire. SOLUTION: In the curve operating device for endoscope, with which a pair of operating wire are wound around a pulley 8 and curve operation is enabled by taking up one end and feeding out the other end of each of operating wires extended from the pulley corresponding to the rotating operation of this pulley, a groove 22 of the pulley is made into groove shared by a pair of operating wire by being spirally formed continuously in the circumferential direction of this pulley so that one part from one end 22a in the groove and one part from the other end in the groove can be adjacently parallel in the axial direction of the pulley, and each of operating wires is taken up in the groove of the pulley alternately corresponding to the rotating direction of the pulley.
