PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidation treatment apparatus for an organic liquid to be treated, in which a treated liquid is quenched and passed through a zone of a severe corrosive environmental temperature for a short time and as a result, the corrosion in a system, through which the treated liquid is passed, is remarkably reduced. SOLUTION: The oxidation treatment apparatus is provided with a reactor 2 for causing the oxidation reaction of the organic liquid A to be treated under a high temperature and pressure, a high pressure pump 3 or the like for supplying the organic liquid to be treated to the reactor 2, a cooling water supply means 10 for incorporating cooling water to the treated liquid discharged from the reactor and a heat exchanger 4 for heat-exchanging between the treated liquid and the oraganic liquid to be treated. The cooling water supply means 10 is positioned in the upstream side of the heat exchanger 4 in an outlet pipe line 11 of the reactor 2 and a part D including the connection point of the outlet pipe line 11 with the cooling water supply means 10 is detachable.
