PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a jelly beverage at an ultralow cost because the production of a neutral jelly beverage filled in a flexible packaging material container such as a PET bottle (distributable at normal temperature) can be carried out for the first time and a usual aseptic filling line can intactly be utilized without modifying the line. SOLUTION: This jelly beverage in a neutral region is produced by filling the jelly beverage in a container at <=45 deg.C according to a usual method for aseptic filling using an irreversible gelling agent not gelling at <=45 deg.C (agar, locust bean gum, etc.). |
