PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device which can further increase the amusement property by adding the collectability for characters to the game. SOLUTION: When a game program is downloaded, the character data which is used for the game program is selected from among a plurality. Thus, the collectability for characters can be added to the game, and the amusement property of the game can be increased.
