PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona discharge treating device which generates no fluctuation in a treated width by a allowing a discharge electrode to follow the zigzag direction even when an object to be treated, such as films, is moved in the zigzag direction. SOLUTION: This corona discharge device features that a discharge electrode 4 is made to slide freely in the longitudinal direction with respect to an electrode holder 2 together with an electrode side rail 5 by means of a slide unit 10 and a pair of driven members 13 which hold a film 18 which is transferred, from both sides, are brought into sliding contact with both side edges of the film, thereby, are driven in the transverse movement whose direction is vertical to the transfer direction of a film 18 and slide the discharge electrode 4 are disposed on both sides of the electrode side rail 5.
