PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating mode change-over switch for a hand tool device in which a compression spring exhibits unsymmetrical characteristics corresponding to the rotational direction. SOLUTION: A manually operable driving part 2 and a driven part 3 driven by the driving part 2 are abutted to each other in the direction of the axial line so as to be coaxially relatively rotatable. A pair of recesses 5, 5' in which spring elements 6, 6' are accommodated, are eccentrically arranged for the driving part 2 so as to cross with rotational axial line A. While base ends 7, 7' of the spring elements 6, 6' are abutted to the driving part 2, free ends 8, 8' point to the same direction. In angular displacement of the driving part 2 to the driven part 3, at least either side of the free ends 8, 8' of the spring elements 6, 6' is made contactable to at least either piece of contacting members 10, 10' eccentrically arranged in the driven part 3 so as to be protruded in the recesses 5, 5' of the driving part 2 in the direction of the axial line. |
