PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information useful for health management about an adipose distribution of a visceral area or amount, or the like, in addition to an adipose amount, without fear of a bad influence upon a human body, which a simple and low-cost structure. SOLUTION: In this measurement method, an organism electrical impedance between two portions of the human body is measured, and the abdominal visceral fat area or amount is calculated on the basis of an age, a body height, a body weight and the measured impedance between the portions.
