<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out adjustment of a roll gap of a rolling mill with a little facility cost and with high accuracy. SOLUTION: When a finishing rolling mill is made zeroth, and a mill constant of an i-th rolling mill on the upstream side is expressed by Ki and a plastic coefficient of an material is expressed by Mi , the roll gap deviationΔgo in the finishing rolling mill is computed by the following expression to adjust the roll gap:Δgo =Δho -ΔPo /Ko (where,Δho is a deviation between a measured plate thickness delivered from a final finishing material and a final target plate thickness,ΔPo is a deviation between a measured rolled load and a reference rolled load). And a roll gap deviationΔgi of the i-th rolling mill is computed by the following expression to adjust the roll gap:Δgi =Pi-1 (1/Ki-1 +1/ Mi-1 )-ΔPi /Ki (where,ΔPi-1 is a deviation between the reference rolled load and a measured rolled load of a (i-1)-th rolling mill,ΔPi is a deviation between the reference rolled load and a measured rolled load of the i-th rolling mill.</p> |
