PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accommodate armrests without ruining a good appearance of a chair in order that the armrests won't be obstructive when they are not needed. SOLUTION: The chair is equipped with a main part 1 of a back board, armrests 2, and a supporting means which supports the armrests 2 in a manner that the armrests 2 can be moved from a position A in use, or the side of a seat 3, to a stored position B, or the back of the seat 3. A cut 5 is made on the side of the main part 1 of the back board, and the armrest is accommodated in the cut 5.
