PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten bonding time by dispensing with electric current required for welding in comparison with conventional welding. SOLUTION: In order to pinch a first member W1 and a second member W2 which a rotating tool 1 and a fixed tool 10, the projecting portion 2 is press-inserted into the first member W1 and the second member W2 with the prescribed pressing force, revolving the rotating tool 1 at the set number of revolutions and the projecting portion 3 rotates inside these members by which the member structure of the circumferential portion is cut to develop exothermic heat. Further, cut parts by the projecting portion 3 stay inside the member with both tools 1, 10, being agitated, coming into collision with the circumferential member structure and the projecting portion 3 so as to generate heat and a first shoulder portion 2 is press-inserted with the prescribed pressing force and is rotated to develop exothermic heat so as to melt cut parts, to promote plastic flow of the circumferential member structure and to increase plastic flow capacity by strengthening pressing force per unit area, holding for the prescribed time at the prescribed pressing force and member of revolutions, and the member structure under plastic flow by revolving the rotating tool 1 and by pulling the rotating tool out of the member, is cooled and bonded.
