Diphenyl-substituted alkenyl-carboxylic acid guanidides of general formula (I), wherein T is a group of general formula T, RA, RB, RC and RD are hydrogen, halogen, cyano group, optionally substituted hydroxy group, (C1-C4)-alkyl, fluoro-substituted alkyl, (C3-C8)-cycloalkyl or substituted amino group, x is 0, 1 or 2, y is 0, 1 or 2, RE and RF are hydrogen, halogen, cyano group, substituted hydroxy group, (C1-C8)-alkyl, fluoro-substituted alkyl, (C3-C8)-cycloalkyl or (C1-C9)-heteroaryl, R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 have the meaning as T, or are hydrogen, optionally fluoro-substituted alkyl or alkoxyl, halogen, cyano group, or defined organic residue, or R1 and R2, or R2 and R3 mean together optionally substituted group -CH-CH=CH-CH-, whilst the residue T is present in the molecule at least twice, most three times, as well as their pharmaceutical acceptable salts, are effective inhibitors of the cell exchange system Na+/H+.
