PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining system capable of effectively using a space. SOLUTION: The machining system is composed of a first machine tool 12 which is equipped with a first workpiece holder 20 and a first machining unit to apply processing work to work pieces 24, and a second machine tool 14 which is equipped with a second workpiece holder 20' and a second machining unit 38' to apply processing work to the workpieces. The machining system is further equipped with a base construction 16 to support the first and second machine tools at their processing position. And the position of at least a part of the first machine tool 12 is adjustable along the first line 64 and the position of at least a part of the second machine tool 14 is also adjustable along the second line 86 which is set not parallel with the first line 64. And the first machine tool and second machine tool are constructed so that the position of a part of them is adjustable relatively each other. |
