PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for discharging a large quantity of stool at once by an easy operation. SOLUTION: A defecation tool 1 in which a sheet 4 is wound around a second insertion rod 3 is prepared by fastening the facing sides of the sheet 4 large enough to surround stool in the rectum respectively to a first insertion rod 2 and the second insertion rod 3, and is inserted into the rectum from the anus with the first insertion rod 2 and the second insertion rod 3 brought near, surrounds the stool in the rectum while spreading the sheet 4 by moving the first insertion rod 2 as if to draw a circular arc, tightens surrounded stool while taking up the sheet 4 by revolving the second insertion rod 3, and can discharge the stool in a state of being held by the sheet 4 by pulling out the first insertion rod 2 and the second insertion rod 3 from the rectum.
