PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition tool by which abrasive grains are fixed onto a single layer, wherein a tip height of the abrasive grain is uniformed by conditioning the surface of an electrodeposited abrasive layer so as to enable highly accurate work. SOLUTION: In electrodeposition work, an abrasive layer 2 with a single layer structure is formed by removing insufficiently fixed abrasive grains 5 and 5a. The tip of an abrasive grain 4 in the abrasive layer 2 is grinded to be removed as much as the height corresponding to 10-20% of an abrasive grain size with reference to the tip height H of the abrasive grain, which makes the tip height of most abrasive grains uniformed. Therefore, stable workability and surface roughness can be obtained from the initial stage of use of the tool.
