PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for cutting a carrier tape for electronic parts which can automatically cut, properly sort out and discard the carrier tape discharged to the outside from the carrier tape discharging opening of a electronic parts automatic installation device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a slider 34 energized by a compression spring 88, a movable blade 76 fixed to one edge of the slider 34, a fixed blade provided oppositely to the movable blade 76 at a prescribed interval, driving devices 36, 38 which move the slider 34. A used carrier tape 4 is inserted and properly cut to a prescribed length between the movable blade 76 and the fixed blade 58. |
