PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for treating infectious medical wastes for which it is devised that, when the infectious medical wastes are sterilized by immersing them in a heated oil, dangerous metals such as the needles of syringes are not projected from the outer side face of a partly melted plastic mass. SOLUTION: A plastic container A in which the infectious medical wastes DS are stored is immersed into a heated oil B to sterilize and melt the container A together with the infectious medical wastes DS and is prepared into approximately a bucket shape whose cross-sectional area is gradually narrower from the top part to the bottom part and a plurality of stripes of thin thickness channels 22A, 23A and 24A are provided on the outer side face of this container A up and down at definite intervals. |
