PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic compact whose mirror can be easily removed from the lid without any possibility of damage to finger tips, nails, or the mirror. SOLUTION: This cosmetic compact is equipped with a container body, a lid 2 to cover the container body, and a mirror 3 installed on the back of the lid 2. The mirror 3 is detachably attached to the back surface of the lid 2 with adhesive double coated tape 7. Between the mirror 3 and the back surface of the lid 2, a mirror stand sheet 16 is provided, part of which is extended, along the back surface of the lid 2, beyond the mirror 3, forming a pull 19. The pull 19, as it is made of a shape memory resin, stands up when reaches a prescribed temperature.
