PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sound castings by suppressing the generating rate of a cavity defect, a shrinkage cavity, etc., and suppressing the deviation of the products among cavities of a multicavity mold. SOLUTION: In the casting mold 1, a mold formed with three or more of cavities 8 is provided with cooling means for lowering the temperature of each cavity, and the cooling capacity of these cooling means are made so that the cooling capacity of the center part cavity 8b, on both sides of which other cavities exist, is made higher than the cooling capacity of the cavity 8a positioned on the end part of the mold. As the means of enhancing the cooling capacity, either of a water flow conducting time, a water flow conducting quantity, or the selection of the material for the cooling water flow conducting part 12 of the core 11 construction is selected.
