PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mounting structure of a weather strip to be fixed to the door opening edge of a car body. SOLUTION: A weather strip 2 is to be installed in continuity from the roof side 3A of a door opening edge 3 to a pillar 3B via a corner part 3C, wherein a retainer 4 is furnished on the roof side 3A of the door opening edge 3. A joint retainer 5 arranged alongside the corner part 3C is connected with the termination of the retainer 4. The parts 2A and 2C along the roof side 3A and corner part 3C of this weather strip 2 are attached to the retainers 4 and 5, and the part 2B alongside the pillar 3B is adhered by the first two-side sticky tape 7A of hard nature. At the same time, the part 2C along the corner part 3C of the weather strip 2 is adhered by the second two-side sticky tape 7B of soft nature in such a way as intersecting the lower termination of the joint retainer 5 and lapping with the top of the first tape 7A in a position outside the car. |
