PURPOSE: Provided is an electrode to be inserted into a body for treatment of diseases such as urinary incontinence and a method for producing the same, by which it is possible to produce an electrode to be comfortably inserted into a body in an easy and economical way. CONSTITUTION: The electrode includes a rod-shaped main body formed of non-conductive silicone; a plurality of circular conductive bands formed of conductive silicone and disposed on the rod-shaped main body; a plurality of circular metal bands buried in the circular conductive bands; and a plurality of wires. The circular conductive bands are aligned in the longitudinal direction of the main body and spaced from each other. The circular metal bands have one ends electrically connected to the circular metal bands and inserted into the rod-shaped main body. The other ends of the circular metal bands are extended to the rear ends of the main body and electrically connected to a controller. The circular conductive bands are protruded over the parts adjacent to the main body.
