PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small light-emitting diode lamp or a photo-detector which is rigid, while a optical axis is not deviated from a desired direction. SOLUTION: A lead 10 comprises a lead part 1 and a leg part 2, provided with a protruding part 3 facing almost center, and the lead part 1 allocated almost in parallel to form substantially H-shape in a top view. A semiconductor optical chip 5 wherein, placed on a placement part 4 provided near center of one lead part 1, a wiring is performed to the other leas part 1, and a light- transmitting resin 6 which covers them are provided. It is preferable that a recessed part be formed at the protruding part 3 of the placement part 4, while the lead part 1 or the leg part 2 is bent. The lead part 1 protrudes above the bottom surface of the resin 6, while the leg part 2 is wider than a resin- protruding part of the lead part 1. The leg part 2 is positioned, in substantially parallel plane to the bottom surface of the resin 6, while being provided at the both ends of the respective lead parts 2. |
