PURPOSE:To detect a frequency correction burst signal simply and accurately from a reception signal of the TDMA digital communication system. CONSTITUTION:The burst detector is provided with a correlation generating means 11 generating a correlation between reception signal components or the like, revision count means (12, 13, 14) counting number of correlation values every time a correlation value revises a preceding maximum correlation value, and non-revision count means (12, 13, 15) counting number of correlation values every time a correlation value does not revise a preceding maximum correlation value, and with a discrimination means 16 detecting a burst based on the count of the revision count means and the non-revision count means. Furthermore, the count of the revision count means 14 is reset as required. |
