PURPOSE:To provide a process for the purification of hemoglobin from erythrocyte minimizing the denaturation of hemoglobin in the purification process. CONSTITUTION:Hemoglobin is purified from erythrocyte after converting the hemoglobin in the erythrocyte into CO-hemoglobin by treating the erythrocyte with carbon monoxide. |
