PURPOSE: An apparatus for warning fog is provided to offer necessary information for safety driving to a driver by detecting a region in which fog occurs and displaying it. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of fog detection portions(100) is installed in a predetermined interval on a roadside in order to sense fog occurrence. The fog detection portion(100) is formed with a fog sensor, a control portion, and a modem. A host computer(200) outputs a display control signal to generate a fog alarm signal and indicate a region in which fog occurs according to a state of fog transmitted from the fog detection portion(100). A display(300) for the state of traffic flow is installed on a road. The display(300) for the state of traffic flow receives from the display control signal from the host computer(200) and displays the fog alarm signal and the fog generation region.
