PURPOSE: An emergency informing system and a method for the protection of cars are provided to prevent the extension of car accidents, thus embodying the more safe and efficient operation of the cars. CONSTITUTION: The emergency informing system for the protection of a car comprises: a navigation device(120) for detecting a present position of the car; a first wireless transmitter(117) for sending accident information in case that the car causes an accident; a first wireless receiver(119) for receiving the accident information from the car causing the accident; an accident detecting device(129) for detecting emergency accident signals of the car causing the accident; a brake device(123); a first memory device(130) storing first data consisting of a specific number of the car and route data; and a first control device(110) having a second memory device(113) for temporarily storing a former position and the present position of the car and a first rest time setting part(115).
