PURPOSE: An internet telephone connection device combined with a main wire telephone is provided to use an Internet telephone and a general telephone by integrating a sound card function and an Internet telephone connection device using a sound chip set for a PC. CONSTITUTION: A PC interface unit(110) transmits voice/control/DTMF(Duel Tone Modulation Frequency) data. A voice signal processing unit(121) processes/transmits voice data between the PC interface unit(110) and a main wire, supports a MIDI/joystick port, and performs a PC sound card function. A voice signal transmitting unit(122) applies a power source to a voice signal transmitted from the voice signal processing unit(121), transmits the signal through two telephone lines, and transmits the voice signal transmitted from the telephone lines to the voice signal processing unit(121). A control unit(130) controls the voice signal processing unit(121), controls an operation of a ring generator for generating a ring signal, and outputs a DTMF received from a DTMF receiving unit, an input signal from the voice signal processing unit(121), and a main wire or Internet telephone selection signal in accordance with an on/off hook detecting result. A switching unit(123) selects the voice signal transmitted from the voice signal transmitting unit(122) or a voice signal being entered through the main wire by the selection signal and connects the selected signal to a telephone terminal.
