PURPOSE: A wastewater treatment method for improving nitrogen and phosphorus removal efficiency is provided, which is characterized in that organic/inorganic coagulant and inorganic mineral are injected into a treatment tank for removing heavy metal, nitrogen, and phosphorus. According to the method, sludge retention time is increased, and sludge production is reduced. Also produced sludge is recycled into inorganic mineral. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized in that one or more inorganic materials(100 to 5000 μm in diameter) selected from the group consisting of zeolite, clay, glass, diatomite, pozzolan, fly ash, bentonite and clinoptilolite are injected in wastewater in an amount of 500 to 20000 mL/L; (a) inorganic coagulants selected from aluminium sulfate, iron salt, and bivalent metal salt or (b) organic coagulants selected from polyaluminum chloride, polyaluminum sulfate silicate, poly amine are dosed in wastewater in an amount of 10 to 1000 mL/L; sludge retention time is controlled to be 20 to 100 days; and sludge produced is dried at 100 to 1200 deg.C and recycled as inorganic media.
