PURPOSE: A wireless recording device and a method thereof are provided to control the wireless recording device entirely in a transmitting unit and realize the entire operation state by displaying a state display part in the transmitting unit, thereby effectively carrying out the voice signal recording. CONSTITUTION: A wireless recording device includes a transmitting unit(100) for transmitting input voice signals and control signals digitally and having a central processing unit(CPU) for controlling the whole transmitting unit and processing the voice and control signals, a voice input part for inputting the voice signals to the CPU, a state display part for displaying a voice signal recording state, a voice outputting part for transmitting the processing voice signals and control signals or transmitting a state signal of a receiving unit to the CPU, and a power supply part, and a receiving unit(200) for receiving the voice signals and the control signals digitally transmitted from the transmitting unit, and having a CPU for controlling the whole receiving unit and processing the voice and control signals, a voice receiving unit for receiving the voice signals and the control signals from the transmitting unit under the control of the CPU and transmitting the state signal to the transmitting unit, and an amplification part for amplifying the received voice signals.
