PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery excellent in cycle characteristics. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active material, a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The capacity of the negative electrode is represented by a sum of a capacity component acquired when a light metal is adsorbed and disengaged in ion state and that acquired when the light metal is deposited and dissolved. The negative electrode comprises such negative electrode material as capable of adsorbing and disengaging the light metal in ion state and powder particles not related to adsorption and disengagement of ion of the light metal. |
