PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer control system for allowing a user or an operator to utilize color improvement operation. SOLUTION: A color printing method is used for selectively printing (selected) pages of a color image in a printing job including a plurality of pages. This method provides a means for identifying and selecting one or more pages in one printing job having a set of a plurality of pages, and provides a means for applying a plurality of different color improvement operations when printing the pages including color images. The first color improvement operation is allocated to a first sub set of the page in one printing job, the page in the printing job is processed, the page under processing is determined whether or not it is a component of the first sub set of the page including the allocated first color improvement, and if it is determined to be a component, the first color improvement operation is performed on the image data related to the page. |
