PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify counting of designated straight lines displayed on the surface of an object to be detected. SOLUTION: In an object discriminating method, a binary image of the surface of the object W to be detected is analyzed along the whole periphery, symbols L displayed on the surface are counted, and the count value is compared with a preset value to thereby discriminate whether the object W to be detected is right or wrong. |
