PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an apparatus and improve the converting efficiency. SOLUTION: A power supply 1 is provided with transformers 13, 24, rectifier circuits 11, 12, 21 for generating pulse voltage VP1 , VP2 , a filter circuit 23 for filtering the pulse voltage VP2 and generating a DC voltage VDC, a switching element 14 connected to a primary winding 13a of the transformer 13 in series and synchronized with a drive signal SD1 and switching the pulse voltage VP1 , and a switching element 25 connected to a primary winding 24a of the transformer 24 in series and synchronized with a drive signal SD2 and switching the DC voltage VDC. The power supply 1 rectifies and combines voltages induced in secondary windings 13b, 24b of the transformers 13, 24 and generates an output voltage V0 , and is also provided with a control circuit 16 for controlling the pulse width of the drive signal SD1 in response to the voltage of the output voltage V0 and a control circuit 27 for controlling a pulse width of the drive signal SD2 in response to the voltage of the pulse voltage VP2 .
