PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture easily with an imager scanner without using a large equipment and to enable to copy letters and images in a binding margin of various types of books accurately and clearly. SOLUTION: An input screen 5 of the main body 1 of a scanner is extended to the side face to form a projecting part 4 at the end of the side face. To facilitate copying, the main body 1 of a scanner is provided with bearers. For convenient and easy use for various types of books, a main body supporting band and a main body supporting and pressing handle are provided on the rear face of the main body 1 of a scanner.
