PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask centering mechanism by preventing abnormal deformation of shadow masking and elasticity, improving positioning accuracy between a panel and a shadow mask, and improving image quality. SOLUTION: A mask inner surface control means 40 of the mask centering mechanism is provided with a roller 68 on a slide frame 44. The slide frame 44 is set with vertical axis 56, and a bush 64 is caught between a nut 52 of top side and a flat washer 60. A spring 66 of elasticity is fitted into the vertical axis 56, and a resinoid roller 68 is fitted into neighborhood of the bush 64. The roller 68 has initial setting position on top side of the vertical axis 52, and is allowed to have a change downward.
