PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reservation control method in which a user stores only instruction contents at a visit place into a mobile information device and transfers the instruction contents to an instruction object device after the user returns home and direct communications with the instruction object device becomes available. SOLUTION: The mobile information device 20, 40 or 50 acquires reservation information to reserve video recording or contents downloading or the like by the instruction object device 61, 62, 63 or 64 from the outside and stores the reservation information into the mobile information device temporarily. When the instruction object device thereafter enters a near distance communication range with the mobile information device, the mobile information device transfers the instruction contents corresponding to the reservation information to the instruction object device through near distance communications.
