PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a technique of power supply, which can perform data communication, PDA operation, etc., even during transmission by a communication device in addition to eliminating necessity of a battery and a capacitor of high capacitance for realizing these data communication and PDA operation, in a terminal device of PDA or the like having communicating functions. SOLUTION: This method of power supply comprises a means for detecting power consumption necessary for a power supply destination of first class, a means for on/off turning supply of power to a power supply destination of second class from a power source, and a power accumulating means for maintaining power which must be supplied to the power supply destination of the second class in the case of turning off the power supply to the power supply destination of the second class by the power source. When large power consumption is detected temporarily necessary to the power supply destination of the first class, power supply to the power supply destination of the second class by the power source is turned off, and power is supplied from the power accumulating means to the power supply destination of the second class. In this condition when the power supply destination of the first class detects large power consumption unnecessary, power supply to the power supply destination of the second class by the power source is restored. |
