PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission system that decreases the number of installed WDMs(Wavelength Division Multiplexers) so as to reduce the installation cost and extend the transmission distance of an optical signal. SOLUTION: A transmission line for an outgoing signal and a transmission line for an incoming signal are made to be independent and the WDMs 48, 51 are installed to each transmission line as the wavelength division multiplexers. |
