PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem that a project progress management function in a conventional client server system is structured as a specific EDP system and requires an AP for exclusive use on the client side. SOLUTION: A business executer uses a business terminal 10 to send a progress report of a project, which he or she is engaged with, to a mail reception means 21 of a project monitor server 20 through the Internet 100 by an electronic mail transmission function 12. The mail reception means 21 transfers an arriving electronic mail to a mail decoding means 22, and the mail decoding means 22 automatically converts the text of the electronic mail to the HTML form and stores it in a progress data preservation place 30. Stored data are linked to icons prepared for respective sub-tasks of each project in a WWW server 23, and to be transmitted as information and referred to by a browser of the business terminal 10 and a browser of a management terminal 4 of a project manager. At this time, it is judged by the color of the icon of each sub-task whether the sub-task is being performed or has been terminated. |
