PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an efficient itemization when computerizing the filled-in contents of family registration. SOLUTION: A family registration information processor which processes character strings indicating filled-in contents on family register is characterized in comprising a memory means which memorizes a plurality of analytic rules specified according to the written contents of family registers, at least one keyword for rule selection which is put on said individual analytic rules, a retrieving means which retrieves the key word for said rule selection contained in said character string, and a processing means which processes a character of string of characters corresponding to the predetermined items from the said character strings based on the said analytic rule corresponding to the said retrieved rule selection key word.
