PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight for use in a vehicle that can optimally control a distribution pattern of luminous intensity according to a surrounding environment of the vehicle without another additional lamp. SOLUTION: A portion θ that is more deeply notched in comparison with other end of one side end 6a of a notched part 6 in a fixed shade 5 can be shut from the inside at one end of a movable shape 7 by turning the movable shade 7. Therefore, when being foggy or driving on the street, the decrease in visibility depending on a fog and dazzlement to a pedestrian or the vehicle on the opposite lane can be prevented by removing light from a portion turned upward partly.
