SCREEN INPUT/OUTPUT SPECIFICATION DESIGNING SYSTEM, METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate selection of data items used for screen input/output specification designing. SOLUTION: In designing an input/output specification of a screen for operating a DB table in an data-oriented approach and based on parts icons and link line icons located on a display screen by GUI operation by a user, all data items used for operation of the DB table from a screen (screen A icon 201) are registered with a data item information DB table 109 beforehand. When the user arranges the link line icon 203 on a DB table C202 as an operation object on the screen (screen A icon 201) through GUI operation, an appropriate DB table is identified and all the data items for the DB table are read out from the data item information DB table 109 and listed up on an attribute information input screen 102. One or more data items selected by the user are set and registered with an attribute information DB table 10 as data items used on a screen for operating the appropriate DB table.
