ROUTER AND OUTPUT PORT DECIDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a router which enables uniform load balance and an output port deciding method and its program. SOLUTION: In a router which decides an output port to output an inputted packet, the present invention accumulates a destination address, corresponding next hop address and an output port, obtains a destination address of the inputted packet, determines whether the destination address matches with that contained in a table, obtains the corresponding next hop address and an output port from the table when they match, obtains the number of packets remaining at each corresponding output port when there are a plurality of output ports obtained, decides among them the output port with the fewest number of packets and let the decided output port transmit the inputted packet to the corresponding next hop address.
