PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector which does not require folding process for mounting a ground shell (2), has no play between an insulation housing (3), and the ground shell (2) can be mounted. SOLUTION: At a mounting position of the insulation housing (3), a positioning face (8a) abutting on a pressure-receiving face (7b) of the insulation housing (3) and pinching the insulation housing (3) between the inner top face of the shell main body (21) at the ground shell (2), and tapered faces (7c, 8b) are formed at least either at background of the positioning face (8a) or at forward of the pressure-receiving face (7b). The insulation housing (3) to be pushed into forward in the ground shell (2) is guided up to the mounting position where the pressure-receiving face (7b) opposes to the positioning face (8a) by the tapered faces (7c, 8b). Because the insulation housing (3) is pinched between the positioning face (8a) and the inner top face of the shell main body (21) at the mounting position, the insulation housing (3) can be fixed without a back-lash by only pushing the housing (3) into the ground shell (2). |
