PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast device and a broadcast reproducing device that can partially update broadcast data. SOLUTION: Newly received broadcast data are compared with older broadcast data having already been stored. The broadcast data include small management information to manage version information of relevant information by each related information in addition to a plurality of partial relevant information items and the relevant information in relation to a plurality of the partial relevant information items, intermediate management information for managing pointers to the small management information for managing the version information of the partial program information and the relevant information in relation to the partial program information by each partial program information, and large management information for managing pointers to each intermediate management information. The new/old broadcast data are compared on the basis of pieces of the version information respectively provided to the small management information and the intermediate management information, and by controlling the pointers provided to the intermediate management information and the large management information on the basis of the result of comparison, data can be added in the related information units and the partial program information units.
